07-08-19 // bottle shared with the local crew. Thanks! So different but so nice. Nose is strange. Very dry cacao nibs on a dry ipa body without hops. Gropu didnt really liked, but I enjoyed due to the very unusual taste. --- Beer merged from original tick of Cacau IPA. on 07 Aug 2019 at 22:29 - Score: 8. 18/I/19 - 500ml bottle from a trade, shared @ home, BB: III/2016, L017 - (2019-102) Thanks to Marlos for the trade!
Clear red brown beer, big creamy beige head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: very nice stuff, dried fruits, vanilla, caramel, slightly sourish, some cardboard. MF: lively carbon, medium to light body. Taste: bit sweet, caramel, oxidized, some cardboard, some dried fruits. Aftertaste: slightly sourish, cardboard, caramel, dried fruits, other fruits, bit malty, soft bitterness, madeira, some soy sauce.
This one has aged very nicely! Body is a bit thin, and there's some obvious oxidation that has happened, but it's still a very complex and pleasant beer!
