Bottle: Poured a lightly hazy yellow color ale with a large white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of light fruity ester with lightly sweet Belgian style-malt notes. Taste is a shy mix of lightly fruity ester with some semi-sweet Belgian malt notes. Body is about average with good carbonation and no apparent alcohol. Lacking some complexity to compete with the staple of the style.

ChrisOs Easter Tasting. Cheers Scopey for sharing this rarity. Clear dark amber beer. Good pale tan - cream head. Palate is smooth, semi dry and has fine carbonation. Good caramel - toffee malt with some lacto. Sweet! Finishes dry with mildly bitter dried fruits. Hides the alcohol well.

Bottle (purchased at Delirium Rio), consumed at Chriso’s Easter tasting 2012. It pours deep amber, with a decent beige head. The nose is toffee, hot cross bun, caramel, Horlicks and beef jerky. The taste is cola, toffee, plum, prune, grape, chocolate, spice, sugar and caramel, with a dry, fruity finish. Alcohol is well hidden. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Not bad, but perhaps a bit too sweet.
