Tap at Heartland, Empire State Building yesterday. Crystal clear, copper coloured with frothy off-white foam. Hops to the fore, with a cheesy aroma I often discern in dry hopped beers. Slight hints of grapefruit and tangerine; dry finish.

Draught @ Heartland B&R, Empire State Building yesterday. Dark brown with pale brown foamy head. Much "going on"in this stout. Bitter with roast malts and delicate chocolate notes. Grassy aromas from the oats work well in a stou that I found to be well crafted.

Gold to amber with lasting whitish head. Exquisitely hoppy and aggressively bitter though these attributes are delicately tempered by a malt presence. There follows a long, satisfying dry hoppy finish.

Draught at Heartland Brewery & Rotisserie, Empire State Building,on 23rd July 2009. Hazy gold appearance, fading off-white head. (2mm in small glass). Tangy with some intrinsic astringency. Some acidity and a few fruity notes, followed by a sharp finish on a smooth mouthfeel afforded by the beer’s softly carbonated nature.

Draught at Heartland, Empire State Building, on 23rd July 2009. Pale amber with lasting off-white head giving some lacing. Orange zest in aroma and initial kick then grassy, herby hoppiness on a lively mouthfeel. Dryish finish and slight scent of coriander. I actually enjoyed the beer as a first drink on this session.

On tap at Heartland Empire State Building on 23rd July 2009. Russet-coloured with whitish head, quite sticky in nature - sweet caramel and toffee notes abound initially then the hops kick in to give a dry, though citric, finish.

Draught at Heartland Brewery & Rotisserie, 23rd July 2009. Gold with foaming off-white head. Maltiness to the fore with the perfume of sweetcorn (fairly strong aroma, that I felt worked well). A dryish finish on a smooth mouthfeel. Pleasant drink, even for a hop lover like me!

Aroma: Fruity malts, sweet bread
Appearance: Hazy orange
Flavor: Similar to the nose, fruity sweet, mild hints of hops too
Palate: Light body, very easy to drink
Overall Impression: Decent fruit beer, really good for people who aren't really beer fans, not exactly a super exciting brew, but not bad for the style...
