L’arôme de fumé est assez doux et permet à quelques notes de pain de s’affirmer tout en gardant un bel équilibre avec les autres accents olfactifs. De couleur doré profond et presqu’ambré, le liquide est parfaitement limpide. La mousse de taille moyenne est crémeuse et assez tenace. Un mélange céréalier doucement fumé s’introduit en entrée de bouche et se transforme en amertume herbacée intense, empreinte de notes fumées qui en augmentent l’intensité. Des esters et des accents miellés s’ajoutent à la palette pour la complexifier. L’équilibre entre le fumé et l’ensemble de la palette est tout à fait à point. Je ne suis habituellement pas un amateur de bières fumées mais je dois avouer que celle-ci m’épate par sa douceur, son équilibre et sa complexité. Très appréciée ! Un olfactif bien citrique avec du pamplemousse bien en évidence, un fond malté et beaucoup de résine herbeuse (grassy). Liquide doré bien limpide et fortement effervescent. Mousse pétillante qui s’affaisse assez rapidement. Très sèche et fortement carbonatée en entrée de bouche. Saveurs d’agrumes et de résine en évidence. La base maltée supporte les houblons avec son côté sucré miellé. Un peu de sucre résiduel collabore à une finale mi-sèche. L’amertume est très douce pour une IPA. L’alcool est bien intégré mais aussi réchauffant, s’intégrant à la finale pour dominer les houblons. Base maltée sucrée et presqu’absence d’amertume dans cette IPL moyennement appréciée! Hazy golden with amber highlights, a soapy-bubbly off-white cap, average stay and some foamy lacing spots left. Lemon zest aromas with a touch of orange juice, fresh herbs and soft spelt notes. The mouthfeel is thin, as 4.5% can be and the finish is light on the dryness. Flavours shows citrus zest, juices and a tad grassiness, all milder. Hard to get the spelt, as this is more like a Hazy APA - but decent for the lighter alcohol content.

(Can) Pours clear amber with good white head. Pleasant aroma of toffee malt with subtle notes of smoke. Smooth medium body with good carbonation. Good taste. Refreshing caramel malt lager at the start. Then a steadily building smokiness develops - subtle at first, then growing to join the moderate hoppy bitterness in the long finish. Very enjoyable and unusual.

Very hazy pale amber with big white head. Lovely fruit aroma. Medium body with plenty of texture and fine carbonation. Taste is good all the way, and very nice. Fruity start and long gentle hoppy bitterness. Notes of biscuit malt. Very good.

Pours a very light golden-yellow colour with no carbonation seen, a white bubbly cap, average retention and a tad lacing. Getting rusty water at first, with eventually light sweet malt, herbal, banana and yeast hints. The herbal touch stands out a little more, above others in the taste with again the yeast. Not getting much nuttiness from the spelt, but maybe a touch of spiciness, giving a Pils note. Hints of pears. Not a bad, refreshing spelt lager, but not one I would have again.
