Can. Hazy orange pour with a creamy, off white head. Aroma is a blast of tropical fruit. Mango puree, pineapple, and lots of stone fruit. Perfect mouth feel and carb. Finish is fruity, and grassy. Low bitterness, light citrus, some zest and more light pith. Some more mango and peach, wow, this was a surprise, wicked stuff.

On tap at the mondiale 2014. Hazy orange pour, with a beige rocky, sticky head. Aroma is alot of sticky, bready sweet malts, with some sticky resinous hops. Thick mouthfeel, soft carb. This is nothing special. But in a Quebec market that barley has any double ipas, they would do well. But overall i wasnt impressed, there are easily available much better examples near by in Ontario. Not horrible, but not great either.

Tap t the mondiale 2014. Dark amber pour, eggshell head. Some nice maltys aromas, bready, even a tad nutty, with a solid amount of citrus hops. Good mouth feel, good carb. Finish is a medium bitter, with some more pleasant juicy, citrusy hops flavors. This is quite pleasant and easy drinking.

Tap at the mondiale 2014. Black pour, beige head. Pine hops, with some subtle citrus notes. Some good roasted malts, hints of coffee, and bitter cocoa. This was quite nice. Medium bitterness, and a perfect balance betwen the roasted, charred malts, and the piney hops.

6er purchased in Ville Marie.
Pale, golden pour, with a minimal white head. Buttery malted wheat, with touches of vanilla. MOuth feel is a little thick, carbonation is soft. finish is bloated, with a thick, sweet malted wheat flavor. as it warms the butter gets worse. I’m thinking this beer was rushed, or it could have used quite a bit more hops.

Dark purple pour, with a big frothy pink/purple head. Very faint aroma of grapes juice, and non descript berries. The mouth feel is watery, and the carbonation is about average. The finish is sweet, with a touch of tartness, that is cut short by more sweetness. the blueberry appears in the finish, but it so faint you would miss it if your were not looking for it.

This is pretty much apple juice with some malts added. Overly sweet, can’t find any cranberry. Odd acidic tart finish. Meh.

Well my hopes wern’t very high for this one and well i was right to not get excited. Whoa, there is alot of caramel in here for an ipa. I can see where they are going with this, ut the tiny tinge of piney hops and the huge dose of caramel malts just ain’t gonna cut it. As an entry level ipa you can buy in a 6er, yeah it will probably sell well. But as an ipa, i just dont see it. Apa at best, probably should be and english pale ale.
