Bottle. Pours a cloudy yellow with medium frothy off white head that lasts. The aroma is strong dandellion and wheat. Medium mouthfeel with sweet grain, rosemary, floral, light tartness. Such a complex brew.

On tap at Paradiso Dupont. Pours a hazy gold with some thin white head. Nose of aftershave, mint, loads of spice. Like someone opened their spice cabinet and it fell into the boil... and late. Flavor follows right along, loads of fresh herbs, mint, aftershave. Drain pour, in my opinion.

500 ml bottle. Pours a hazy pale yellow with a large, frothy, long lasting, white head that laces nicely. Sweet aroma of fruit, citrus, wheat and malt with a sour, acidic note. Flavour is sweet and sour with citrus, malt and yeast with a dry finish. Medium body with a watery texture and soft carbonation.

Bottle. Cloudy pale yellow with spongy white head, doughy aroma, sour citrusy taste with abrupt but sour finish. Very much unexpected after the first impression on aroma!

Bottle. A- Lemons, tart, funky, barnyard, yeasty, sour. A- Yellow color, cloudy liquid, white head. T- Sour, tart, lemons, funk, sweet. P- Light body, sour texture, medium carbonation, funky finish. O- I’ve concluded that this style is not my favorite style by any means. The 1809 seemed to be one of the best I have had however. The lactic tartness is very strong and the barnyard aromas are not quite a turn on for me.

Wow, talk about loaruel and ginger in here. Not sure how much I like this one. Pours cloudy yellow without much head or lacing. Lots of rosemary as well. A little jumbled. Tap at Pizzeria Paradiso Dupont.

500ml bottle. Almost clear, yellowish, pale golden colour with average frothy, fluffy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, snow-white head. Sourish, wheaty aroma, a touch of egg white, vague fruitiness, a herbal touch, very cautious hints of smoke. Taste is moderately tart, hints of lemon, lactic acid, vague fruitiness, quince, a herbal touch, very cautious hints of smoke; carbonation has controlled effervescence. Well balanced, superbly refreshing.

Säuerlicher, mild hopfiger Antrunk. Dann etwas bitterer werdend, geringe Intensität mit minimalen Kräutern. Enttäuschend. 11/9/8/8//8

Tap at BKL 2014. Bubblegum and vanilla Weizen aroma, a hint salt and smoke. Yellow, white lace. Medium body, lactic dry. Smoke and spiced salt on a light wheat base. Maggi finish. I liked it.

A hazed golden Gratzer with a thin white head. In aroma, lemony malt with lactic acid notes, light funky side, nice. In mouth, a sour beer with light fruity notes and bacon smokiness, lactic acid, interesting. On tap at Bad Apple, Chicago.
