Delicate bottle design as always. Small off-white foam over a deep mahogany body. Dark malty aroma. Flavour of coffeebeans, cocoa and malt. Medium palate and easy to drink (24.09.2006).

Half pint on cask. Clear amber. Only a ring layer of foam. Sweet citrus sharpness in aroma. Hoppy foundation in taste with some fruity softness of mandarin and apricot. Like it (Jerusalem Tavern 20.09.2006).

500ml bottle at Jerusalem Tavern. Very nice bottle design (as always with St Peters). Reddish-brown body topped by an off-white creamy head. Pleasant malty aroma. Malty flavour all the way through with support of hops. Medium to full bodied (20.09.2006).

500ml bottle bought at The Jerusalem Tavern (which have off-sale of their beers). Rich aroma of ginger. Golden coloured with a low white head. Citrus flavour of lemon and ginger. Lingering fruity aftertaste. Very unique, indeed. Alright for my taste (19.09.2006)

500ml bottle bought at The Jerusalem Tavern. Clear golden coloured. Slowly diminishing bubbly white foam. Powerful aroma of grapefruit. Also a distinctive grapefruit flavour. Fruity and hoppy character. Rather abrupt finish. Very refreshing after a long sunny day walking along the Regent’s canal in London (19.09.2006).

500ml bottle (bb.19.08.07) picked up at Jerusalem Tavern. Attractive dark green bottle. Dark golden in colour with nice clarity and a medium soapy head. Malty aroma with a fruity component. Flavour is moderate hoppy supported by some grainy notes. Slightly bitter aftertaste (19.09.2006).

Half on cask. Mahogany. Small layer ring of foam. Hoppy aroma. Hopped profile with delicate notes of sweetness and bitterness. Food friendly with a J.T’s Vegetarian Burger of Goat Cheese and roasted Vegetables (all in perfect condition at The Jerusalem Tavern 18.09.2006 and a 500ml bottle shared with Finn and Elsa 20.09.2006).

Half on cask. Almost black with a rusty tint to it. No head. Dark fruity aroma. Pleasant malty flavour with chocolate notes. Medium to full bodied. One of the better Milds I have had (in perfect condition at Jerusalem Tavern, 18.09.2006).
