Bottle:Deep amber coloured, cloudy, stable off-white foamy layer with microscopic lace; sweetish-sourish bready (sic!) nose with unexpected hints of chocolate; light to medium bodied, relatively soft; moderate sweet-sour flavour; citrussy traces in the soft sourish-grainy to bready finish. Not my cup of tea, but surely interesting…

0.5l bottle as a part of bavarian beer set, marktkauf/edeka. pours a cloudy golden with a medium white head and some lacing. aroma of grains, a hint of banana, sour fruits. flavour of fruit juice, bread, apple. no bitterness. somewhere between a weizen and a zwickl.

15.12.2015 -- 0.5l bottle as a part of bavarian beer set, marktkauf/edeka. pours a murky amber with a medium off-white head and some lacing. aroma of bread, a hint of banana, sour fruits. flavour of bread, dough, dried fruits, kvass. no bitterness. a weird kind of weizen.
13.04.2018 -- a similar set, 6.49€/6pack, bb 14.09.2018. aroma has some incense stick and solvent, flavour of sourish mirabelle. I think I find it slightly more drinkable now, but still nothing to write home about.

Bottled 500ml. -from Getränke Degenhart Passau. Slightly hazy golden coloured, small white to off-white head, unpleasant perfumed leather nose. Malty, quite watery, odd cereals and leather/clorophenol notes with touch of rubber in the finish. Intention or infection...that’s the right question here.

Dieses Bier habe ich vor einigen Jahren bei Interspar gefunden. Es ist eine trüb-braune Masse, welche mit heutigen (Industrie-)bier schwer vergleichbar ist. So erinnert es eher an flüssiges Brot mit Noten nach Küllel und Fenchel. Dabei ist es nicht schlecht, aber ein klein bisschen Hopfenbittere wäre schon nett.

Fruchtig hopfiger, klar bitterer Antrunk. Grasig mit geringer Süße, der Hopfen wird bereits im Mittelteil schwächer, das Bier bleibt süffig. Gelungen. 10/10/11/11/9/11
