(bottle) Hazy, amber colour with a big off-white foamy head. Slightly mouldy and sour “wheaty” aroma with a slightly perfumed fruitiness of berries. Mildly sour and delicately sweet flavour, light bodied with an almost sharp carbonation. Slim wheaty and malty taste with mildly fruity accents, leading into a sourish fruity finish. Nothing I´d buy on a regular basis, interesting though. 20.IV.13

(bottle) Hazy, golden colour with a big and slightly off-white foamy head. Yeasty, wheaty and spelt-malty aroma with hints of banana, apricots and a tinge of sweat. Moderately sweet flavour, light bodied with a lively carbonation. Slim malty base with notes of wheat and spelt, accompanied by a touch of banana; rather short and mildly sweet-sour finish. Drinkable but no revelation. 20.IV.13

bottle, thank you pivnizub! Clear amber-chestnut colour, fluffy head. Grainy malt flavours, shy fruity touch and a lingering grainy, slightly bready, finish.

Pours hazy amber gold with a tall, pillowy, light parchment head. Aroma is lightly spiced grain..a little sweet fruit. Taste is bready, malty, slightly sweet with a pleasant earthy/spiced bitter. Sort of an English bitter/Dunkel hybrid. VERY tasty.

Pours a murky brown with lazy carbonation and miniscule head, looks and smells like an unfiltered apple cider. Aroma is definitely rye, dark bread, apples. Taste is mildly sour, pumpernickel, apples. Mouthfeel is medium and slick, no sense oif the carbonation at all, and no lingering aftertaste, A tricky beer, and not too many of this sort to compare it to. I’ll give Sudmeister the benefit of the doubt in this one.

Kind of bland, not much stands out here. Compared to the Pyraser 6-Korn, this is a second class citizen. Pours deep golden with thin, but stable, creamy head. Aroma is faint, but malty, and taste is malt and cooked vegetables. Drinkable, but unremarkable.

Good looking weizen, with nice aroma of bananas and something sweet. The dinkel wheat gives it a little differenet character, but taste is sort of flat, mouthfeel is thick, but there’s no lingering taste on the palate. I’ll chalk it up to using the different variety of wheat.
