The beer starts fresh and malty. Not too deep, hints of grain, hints of banana, not much depth. Slightly sourish banana in the aftertaste, no bitterness, nice but a bit flat. Ok.

Malty-sweetish beginning. A bit sharp, dry-dusty malt, sweetish banana. Hints of clove, bitter dusty in the aftertaste. For me a bit too sharp bitter in the aftertaste.

0,50 bottle at Peschiera del Garda-Italy. Pours extremely cloudy yellow bright, huge frothy white cap. Nose: citric hops, a bit of pine needles. Mouth: kind of confusing but ok, grainy with a strong American style orientation. Far too bitter and herbal in the end. Inoffensive ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A clear mahogany coloured brew with a small head of foam.
Malty nose with some rye in there. More sweet than spicy.
Semi sweet taste, again, the rye isn’t very spicy. A bit earthy. Easy drinking. Beer got cloudy with the last pour.
Mouthfeel went from good to a bit watery in the finish.
Decent brew overall.

Dinkel is the German word for spelt (Triticum spelta). Unclear medium amber colour, when the sediment is added it becomes murky light brownish, small frothy off-white head that sizzles away quickly, light lacing. Aroma malty, wheat, bit toasted, yeast, bit sourish. Taste is medium sweet and light sour. Light to medium body, watery texture, average carbonation, aftertaste medium sweet and sour, yeasty notes;. Kind of weizen but different, decent beer.

bottle at home. orange, hazy color. off white head. smells a bit smoky, smell of fresh baked bread. sweet smell, light malty, light liquorish. light to medium body, taste of bananas, fruity, grainy, light bitter finish. actually pretty decent beer, taste and finish is a bit thin though.

Draft at Paradiso Dupont. Clear derp amber gold color, thin off white head. Aroma of lightly toasted caramel. Taste has very, very subtle funk with peppery caramel malt. OK, I’m a huge fan of German breweries expanding their horizons to new styles now that the rheinheitsgebot is on life support. So I want to like this beer. But it needs more Belgian or saison yeast funk, or at least some bretty barnyard flavors. Anyway, thanks for trying, and I’m looking forward to more.

* Old rating. 0,5l bottle, best before 12.04.02. Sehr trübes, mild-weiches Bier. Anklänge an Banane mit moderater Süße und interessanter Malznote. Vollkornartig, in Richtung von Roggen. Würzig und gut harmonierend. Mild-weicher, hefig-malziger Nachgeschmack. Lecker!
