50cl bottle I picked up at Arrowine. Pours a very hazy, nearly opaque, caramel amber with some thick, off white head. Nose has bread, raisin, prune, some yeast, a little bit of brown sugar, some ripened pear. Flavor follows suit, a bit more fruit than the nose has, pear, apple, raisin, prune, a little soggy bread but alot less breadiness than the nose lets on. Clean finish. Very drinkable.

Bottle: Hazy, deep golden, clumps of yeast visible, "dirty" white head, lacy and quickly collapsing, sweetish - and a bit sourish, too - grainy-wheaty nose plus a slight herbal bitterness; light to moderate sweet bitter flavour combined with a delicate acidity, pretty light bodied and soft; shorter sweetish-malty finish. At least drinkable…

Bottle: Golden, a bit unclear, quickly collapsing loose white foam, tart and sourish grainy nose with s touch of vegetables; moderate sweet-sourish flavour, light to medium bodied, but still a chewy MF; fruity-grainy finish. Drinkable, surely not my favourite…

Bottled, courtesy of Cuso, thanks! Aroma is spicy, very light toffee/cappuccino. Lightly hazy amber colour. White head, shorter duration. Taste is bready, with light hoppy bitterness and light malty sweetness. Lightly yeasty. Truly neutral. Finish is spicy, but not too much. Even though it is kind of thin in terms of flavour, I would say the body remains relatively full. For me, this would be a worthy session beer.

Bottle from Wine & Cheese in Clayton, MO. Light gusher! Pours dishwater amber with a frothy off-white (dirty white) head. Hefe aroma. Med + body. Flavor is darkly wheaty with a lot of spice. This is a very tasty beer that doesn’t fit easily into standard flavors. There’s fruit, spice, yeast, malt, but the main thing seems to be a very fresh fruit/ester. This is really good tasting stuff.

(bottle) Cloudy, copper to dark amber colour with a firm mid-sized tanned foamy head. Delicately toasted malty aroma with hints of rye bread and citric fruity notes. Surprisingly sour flavour, light bodied with a modest carbonation. Sourish dark malty and slightly bready taste with sourish fruity notes, but also mildly tosted accents; sour and rather slim finish with a toasty and delicately caramelly edge. Uncommon but not completely bad. 20.IV.13

(bottle) Hazy, golden colour with a blond mid-sized foamy head. Sweaty wheaty malty aroma with shy fruity notes, but strong notes of sulphur. Slightly sour flavour, light to medium bodied with a sharp carbonation. Wheaty and slightly cara-malty taste with moderately fruity accents, also slightly perfumed; slightly sour and a bit tart and fizzy finish. Yuck. 20.IV.13
