Cask pint at Cobblestones, Bridgwater. Pours clear amber with an off- white cap. Aroma: smoked malts, light smoky bacon, toasted bread, caramel. Taste: the beechwood smoked malt character is there through, some caramel notes also. Light sweet & light to moderate bitter. Medium body with soft carbonation. Light smoky best bitter vibes, I like!

Panda at home, thanks to Fergus, 07/01/23. Deep mahogany brown with a good sized light khaki cap that clears to a swirl and edging. Nose is stewed fruits, nutty, vinous, dark malts, herb. Taste comprises earthy fruits, toffee, dark malts, herb, stewed fruits, fruit cake mix, raisins, light cocoa, brown sugar dusting, just a hint of oxidisation. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light drying close with just a spike of alcohol. Not bad age considered.

Bottle from the rot box, maybe 8 years old. A mostly clear nut brown coloured pour with a decent loose khaki head that fades to a swirl. Aroma is nutty brown bread, raisin loaf, little age, rye, cola cubes, prunes. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, layered nutty brown bread, toasted malts, dried fruits trail mix, light age, grape. Palate is semi sweet, oily, mellow carbonation. Has aged pretty good.

chilled 5.2% bottle from my corner kiosk in valby, M-mini market. clear light amber, offwhite head with a faint brownish hue. Very nice very english aroma, how to explain, damp cellar, but in a good way, sweaty leather furniture, spicy gin like note. flavor is quite neutral, sort of flat ale with a distinct but not very powerful bitterness. slightly sweet, faint woody notes, faint and soft nutty notes (not nutty bitter, more like nutty sweet). Also very english flavor.
