Bottle from Kris Wines. Nice head with good duration. Color is brown. Aroma and taste are berries, yeast, caramel, malt, fruits and hops. Quite odd.

Slightly malted brew with a medium body to it. Not blessed with huge amounts of flavour.

Hand-pulled pint in my local Wetherspoons on 4th July 2012. Golden body with a full white head that left some good heavy lacing on my UK pint sleeve glass as the beer level fell. The beer is a dry hoppy brew: the nose being both grainy and semi-citrus hoppy, the taste left the grains behind in the smell and allowed the hops to take over completely, the flavour became bitter and drier as the pint sank. I’m a sweeter, maltier chap so this didn’t do it for me.

On tap somewhere! Pale gold beer. Very light dry palate, a little crisp. Creamy malt base. Zesty hops not too bitter. Orange, lime and a little grapefruit. Finishes crisp.

Bottle , Ship & Mitre bottle shop, West Kirby. Black pour with a fading light brown head. Sweetish nose of dark choc alongside some roast. Fullish mouthfeel, leading to a flavour of dark fruits, burnt malts and a little smoke. Some bitterness towards the finish. Nice one.

LIghtly hopped IPA and very easy to palate due to its very healthy texture.

GBBF. Cask. Clear dark brown beer. Light dry palate. Good malt with a streak of sour chocolate. Well hidden hoppy fruit at the very end. Nicely joined up and tasty.

Tall brown 500ml bottle Best Before End of June 2012: poured into an Abbot Ale glass tankard on 2nd May 2012. Looked good: red/amber body, clear and clean, on top a biege foaming head of closely knit bubbles. Pleasant malty smell, no honey aroma though (honey is within the ingrediants). The taste also has malty front (hints of dark chocolate): a hop bitterness soon arrives though and this isn’t a sweet brew at all. Full bodied and filling: a fine beer.

Pulled from cask, half pint at Counting House. No head whatsoever. Clear copper coloured body. Dry lemony hops to the nose. Malt-fruity flavour, herbal hop bitterness towards the ending. Semi-oily palate. On the average level for the style (Glasgow, 12.04.2012).
