Many thanks to Erzengel for sharing! A clear dark amber beer with a smal most good lasting off-white head. Aroma of caramel, dark reddish malt, spruce. Taste of red malt, spruce, raisins, caramel, mild bitterness.

Smooth and malty beginning. Refreshing and very dry, the beer is round and malty. Not too deep, but sessionable with hints of nuts, caramel, dry grain. Refreshing, easy to drink, nice but not too deep ESB.

Grainy and malty nose. The beer is neutral malty. Hints of dry caramel, fresh and smooth, not too deep with caramelly and slightly bitter hints. Sessionable with not too much depth. Easy drinking stuff.

Bottle shared at Cotteridge convention 05/03/2016. Thanks to Sarky! A clear copper coloured pour with a small off white head. Aroma is sweet cereal, bready, brown sugars. Flavour is composed of thin light brown malts, mineral. Palate is very light, mineral, lowish carbonation. Not terrible.

Small yellowish head; hazy red-amber beer. Caramel², going to toffee, bit of USA hops, faint piney aroma. Bitter, caramel flavour without the sweetness. Autumn leaves, a bit Bock-like. Finish is empty, both on MF as on flavour. Bit wry towards astringency. Quite slick, medium bodied at best. Not too sweet, the rest is average. Thanks to Stef!

Canned 440ml. -Pale golden coloured, small white head, dusty sweetish nose. Weak malty, sweet water, notes of cereals and hay with moderate carbonation. Watery and boring.

Can that Dave shared- thanks (I think). Dull amber-brown; thin, fizzy and watery. Light malt and caramel. No sign of hops at all. A lot of metal. Slight dryness in the finish. I wasn’t around when CAMRA started, but can imagine that this dismal beer tastes similar to the low-grade keg bitters that so enraged their founding members.

Can from Sarkynorthener Morrison’s trip cheers Martin; clear yellow pour thin white head, aroma has light malt, taste has been overshadowed by the aftertaste of the greatest pizza in the world, OK.

Can split at CCii, thanks to Sraky, 05/03/16. Clear golden orange with a decent off whtie head. Nose is on the thin side, brown bread, grain, light caramel. Taste comprises bready notes, caramel, touch of citric peel, straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light bitter edge. For 25p this ain’t bad, there’s crap coming out of back of the pub breweries at 10 times the cost of this that isn’t as drinkable. But fuck - I wouldn’t bother with this ever again !
