From a 330ml can on 20/10/2018 (described as a New England (rather than Vermont) IPA, ABV 4.9%, not 5.1%). Pours a cloudy light golden/straw with a medium to big white head. Has a a light tropical fruit and spice nose. In the mouth you get bready malt, the promised passionfruit and mango, along with a touch of pineapple, which is met by a late grapefruit bitternness which is slightly spicy at the back. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. This is a really pleasant and well made NEIPA, albeit not quite as good as its bigger, stronger brother Squid Rising (which is exceptional).

Can. Very hazy brownish orange with a cm of white head. Aroma of oranges and pineapple, some makrut lime. Intense or rough? - certainly fresh and juicy. Somewhat chalky mouthfeel, but not as pineapple astringent as expected (/feared). Pretty smooth really. Very fruity with orange, mandarin, peach, pineapple. Low bitterness. Good for a sub-style I've yet to really be sold on.

From a can on 23/9/2018 (can't identify the size, ABV listed as 6.5%, not 7%, no reference to coffee on the can, shared by Butz with thanks). Pours a deep clear amber with a biggish head. The nose is chocolatey and pleasant. Tastes of sweet chocolate and caramel and vanilla, with some pretty firm hops at the back. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. A bit dessert like, and easy to drink, but still has a bit of punch. Very good (which is generally par for the course with Mornington).

Craft Islington. Keg. Clear deep red - amber beer, bubbly cream colour head. Palate is smooth and mildly dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Tangy malts, bit of a rye tang, touch of malt cream. Perfumey piney hop is unusual. Light orange peel, a touch of bitterness on the finish. Not very exciting but quite quaffable.

From a 330ml can on 21/7/2018. Pours a cloudy golden with a medium white head. Has a bright, fruity, slightly spicy nose. Very sweet up front - with orange, peach, pear and apricot, and finished of by the big satisfying, zesty grapefruit hop bitterness. The texture is slightly creamy and the carbonation moderate. Beautifully balanced and extremely tasty. One of the very best NEIPAs I've tried.

Pours hazy gold with a large lasting head.Nose shows mango, pineapple, lychee, passion fruit, peach, fruit confectionery and clean sweet-smelling malt.Flavours include more fruit confectionery, piny and resinous hops, mango, lychee, and a load of sweetness reminiscent of malt extract. Crazy sweet.

330ml can. Cloudy, yellow-ish golden colour with small to average, frothy, rapidly diminishing, white head. Tart-ish, fruity and herbal-grassy hoppy aroma, hints of gooseberry, rhubarb, a touch of hay. Taste is mildly tart, citrusy and lactic, hints of lemon, unripe gooseberry, green apple, herbal-grassy hoppy overtones with a spicy touch of hay. Refreshing, simple, unspectacular.
