Bottle from BIAB. Gusher... Even with a careful pour there instill floaters.... It is lightly hazy orangey amber with a thick, foamy white head. The aroma is bitter - sweet, oily, candied orange, peach, toasty grain, brown bread, sponge cake, spice and melon. The taste is dry, bitter - sweet, candied orange, tangerine, nutty, toasty, brown bread, boozy kick, toothy, rivita, cereal and warming spice with a nutty finish. Medium to full body, foamy carbonation and oily mouth feel. Sits a bit heavy perhaps, but enjoyable nonetheless.

Dark amber colour with a medium white head. Aroma is caramel malts, dried fruits and soft toffee. Taste is the same, leading to a medium sweet caramel finish.

33cl bottle from Beerwulf webshop. F: thin, tanned, quick gone to thin film. C: dark brown, coppery hue against the light, hazy. A: rich malty, chocolate, cocoa, dark dried fruits, plums, raisins, nutty, bit spicy. T: full malty base, chocolate, herbal-spicy, mellow dark fruits, dried plums, bit red wine, caramel, nutty, molasses, bit yeasty, soft carbonation, very nice even if it lacks some “wau factor” for me.

Bottle from BIAB. It pours hazy golden with and orangey hue and small foamy white head. The aroma is bready, doughy, brioche, toasty grains, hay, cereal and tangy orange. The taste is dry, rich bready character, doughy, toasty grain, cereal, light orange, brioche, sponge cake, touch of grass and straw with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Well rounded and quaffable.a straight forward and drinkable blonde ale.

A lot of really good things, superb mouthfeel and slight sweetness. Like a great belgian amber, biere de garde like. But a bit boozier. It only has a slightly lingering oxidized aftertaste, great beer all around. Online belgian bier factory
