Bottle from BIAB. It pours deep mahogany brown with foamy beige head. The aroma is bitter - sweet, oily, deep jammy berry character, cherry, bramble, blackcurrant, fruit cake, saltiness, gummy bears, wine gums and fruit pie crust. The taste is dry, toasty, roasted malt, oily, cherry wine, cherry drops, jammy, fruit compote, blackcurrant compote, Dr Pepper, Eccles cake, wine gums, touch of umami, warming booze and toothy vibes. Fulsome body and moderate to high, foamy carbonation. A fruity beast of a beer. Good depth of flavour to it. Fun stuff.

I have a 11.2 oz bottle of Triple Imperiale delivered to me by Belgiuminabox. Most appreciated, don’t know how I would sample many of these beers otherwise. Tonight the brew is going into my Straffe Hendrik large snifter. The body is a dense caramel finished by a healthy array of fine, light tan bubbles. The scent is a delight, dates, alfalfa and baked bread. And the taste, only better. I get caramel, wheat toast, semisweet chocolate, black raisins, strawberry jam, where do I stop? Creamy and thick. Very Pannepot-like. I’m enjoying this.
