Another from Yespr. An interesting beer. Not quite as heavy as some abbots, but more body and more flavor than most quads. Lots of fruit and malt, and prominent Belgian yeast. Low carbonation. A good interpretation of one of my favorite styles.

Thanks to Yespr. A great fresh hop aroma. The beer seems very fresh overall, an accomplishment considering where it came from. Full bodied malt and hop flavor, both flavors are intense and balance each other. Excellent, thick, sweet and heavy palate.

Pitch black with creamy lasting brown head. Smooth & filling, oily palate. roast coffee, chocolate, power hoppy in both aroma & taste. At the same time so pleasant & easy drinkable. Only light alcohol notes & warmth. Long end... World class....

37.5 cL bottle, THANKS TO MYRUP despite the fact that the brewers twinbrother said we should wait sometime before rating it - Myrup insisted that we should go ahead ;-)
Pours amber/brown with a lasting slight off-white head. Quite fruity hoppy aroma with a solid maltbase beneath. Strong caramel maltiness with a strong hoppy note. Has a distinct sweetness to it. Ends warming and slight burning mix of cane sugar, strong hops flavour and alcohol. Although the alcohol is fairly well hidden for an abv of 12%. This brew has all the elements to become extremely wellbalanced and smooth in a couple of years time.
Once again: THANKS TO MYRUP.
Now off to Ølbutikken to grab all the bottles I can for my beercellar...

[Another century celebrated with a Mikkeller beer - this time 9100] Draft. A pitch black beer with no head. The aroma is sweet with notes of soy sauce, chocolate, licorice, and roasted malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of chocolate, alcohol, roasted malt, soy sauce, and licorice - the strongest though is the chocolate.

A great coffee beer, it reminded me of peche mortel. Nearly still with no carbonation. Thick, black syrup. Coffee aroma, intense but not bitter and it has more flavor than merely cold coffee. Medium sweet malt and chocolate are in there as well. Exceptionally smooth palate. Thanks to Brewfiend for sharing.
