On tap. Pours a very dark brown with light head. Aromas of chocolate icing, dry vanilla and slick roasted malts with just a hint of fruity rum barrel. Flavors follow same, dry but still quite a bit of chocolate icing. Very good.

Bottled in 2018, if I am not wrong, bottle coming from bootlegger, Paris. Drinking it yesterday, at the afternoon. Rich and sweet IS, syrupy, roasty, vanilla, rhum, chocolate, bitter, subtle and so rich in aromas, perfect during this busy time. 21.12.24

Clear deep amber to maroon brown to almost purplish beer, practically no head. Aroma: malty, oxidized, earthy, caramel, leather, some alcohol, more malty, dried fruits, raisins, figs. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: sweet start, very oxidized, a little bitter, lots of alcohol, some dried fruits, a hint of chocolate, caramel touch, malty, slightly sweet. Aftertaste: nice, a bit sweet, lots of alcohol, cognac, dried fruits, raisins, more alcohol, a little bitter in the finish.

Draft @ La Binouze, Paris. Pours dark with a thin tan head leaving a lasting circular impression. Aroma of chocolate cake, oak and prominent bourbon. Smooth, almost oily palate, chocolatey feel with a pleasing barrel influence, distant roast.. very nice.

Red with a creamy, off-white head. Aroma promises red currant, caramel and lightly toasted undertones. A hoppy bitterness dominates start to finish, but there’s a big malty base on this one that providing a nice balance. Lingering resin, berries and caramel. Good chewiness, refreshing. Nice one.

Label said 10% ABV. Clear dark brown pour with a lasting tan head. Aromas of malt, cocoa, toast, wood/oak, bourbon, cream/milk. Taste is quite similar with a bourbon finish, slightly boozy. Really nice.
