33cl bottle in Paters Vaetje (Antwerpen) on 22nd October 2024. Hazy golden body, white crust. Yeasty, boozy and the usual Witbier banana and clove signature aroma and taste. Interesting and different.

4,8% ABV. Õlle on selline jook, et iga uus kord kui klaasi või pudeli suule tõstad, siis leiad midagi uut, sõltuvalt tuhandest-miljonist pisiasjast, mis hetke olukorda mõjutavad. Seega piirdun iga õlle juures selle tekstiga.

Rust and lemon, some florals. Bread yeast, banana. Like a hopweizen, randomly. Dark copper pour without much head. Rooty kind of finish. Bottle.

Bouteille 33cl, BB 02/2025.
Brune foncée, col crémeux blanc-cassé.
Arôme est sur un gros stout américain - cara pâle, chocolaté, grillé avec un léger bouquet biscuité - cannelle perce en rétro-nasal. Le choix des houblons est judicieux et se prête bien à ce stout qui pourrait vite basculer vers un côté plus houblonné de la force - dans une black IPA.
Palais sur une bonne base maltée - chocolaté, caramel avec une certaine épaisseur de bouche allant vers le malt crystal carafa et est ponctuée par une petite note de cannelle - la vanille apporte une pointe de tropical douceur sans pour cela est surfaite. L'apport houblonné très américain donne aussi un léger côté résineux
In fine, un stout bien sympa qui change parfois de ce que BBP offre ces derniers mois.

Bottle, 7.5%. Good fruity aroma, slightly citric and funky. Hazy golden colour. Good stable white head. The flavour starts off quite bitter, but ok clean. Seems to have an ok malt base with a mild spiciness, but it is hard to taste behind the bitterness.

Clear pale light straw yellow beer, practically no head. Aroma: very malty, grains, hay, cow fodder, meh. MF: ok carbon, medium to light body. Taste: soft acidity up front, a bit grassy, grains, corn, hay, watery with a hint of citrus. Aftertaste: soft bitterness, a little grassy, some marijuana, hoppy, ok but rather mediocre.

Clear bright light red beer, small creamy pink head, unstable, a bit adhesive. Aroma: strawberry jam, some bubble gum, sweet impression. MF: soft carbon, medium to light body. Taste: lots and lots of strawberry jam, not sweet, no basil either. Aftertaste: soft acidity, a bit lemony, more strawberry jam, no sweet.
