This Kveik poured a cloudy, medium yellow colour with a big, creamy white head. Minimal lacing. Scents include citrus, citrus and more citrus. Maybe a little grass and biscuit. First swig was bursting with hoppy flavour. Tastes of pineapple, orange and lemon hops. Finish isn’t as bitter as expected but more of a fruit juice collection than a beer. Still, tastes pretty good.

Can that pours a hazy peach-amber colour with a slight pinkish frothy head, decent stay and some tiny spotted lacing of foam. Some particles float throughout the beer. Big, bold grassy hop aromas with hints of the fruit. The raspberries are stronger in the taste and give a little tart. The berries also lingers nicely on the tongue. Not much sour, and I am alright with that. Light bitterness from the IPA side of things. A pretty nice strong fruity IPA.

Can from the LCBO. Lightly hazed medium amber with a large lingering off white head producing tight lace. Nose is tropical fruit and citrus with tangerine, grapefruit, pineapple, mango along with some light bready notes. Flavour follows with a light sweet malt under a big grapefruit and pineapple bitterness. Mouth is medium+ and creamy with average carbonation and a lingering bitter finish. 8/4-/7+/3+/15+

Aromatic with grapefruit, tangerine and full of grassy hop resin. Small rocky and effervescent head covering a lightly veiled golden liquid. Taste is fruity and warm with tropical fruit and tangerine accents on a malty base giving off notes of light caramel and biscuit. Alcohol still takes up a good part of the palette and intrudes into the finish, giving it a rather spicy character. The bitterness is almost non-existent leaving rather plenty of room for fruit and alcohol. The malted base gives enough weight to the body and texture while supporting a fairly lively effervescence that enhances the drinkability index. In summary: a little too much alcohol, mainly fruity and lack of bitterness.

Part of their eight 4-pack cans series. Pours a hazy yellow colour with a frothy-creamy white cap, good stay and some full creamy lacing. Big ginger nose that was freshly grated, with a sour background and some fruitiness. The taste is milder with very light peach notes. Mostly sourness and some ginger, finishing quite quickly, and only tart remaining on the tongue. Missing the peach, but other than that a nice light ginger sour.
