Description
Brasserie De Sutter was founded by two brothers, Antoine and Frédéric, passionate about beer and its production. In 2008, they embarked on recipe creation tests and after obtaining their degrees in agronomy and brewing, the first beers were born. Quickly reassured by the quality of their products, the brewers set up an artisanal production unit of 800 liters. In January 2012, it was the big leap towards controlled, higher-capacity manufacturing thanks to the move of the De Sutter Brewery in Gisors to larger premises with new, high-performance brewing equipment.

11th June 2019; Shrewsbury Beer Exchange meeting in Chez Sophie, cheers to Mat for this offering of a cork and caged 75ml bottle. Five of us shared this misty amber bodied beer, steady white head on the brew with a light sediment settling from the pour. Rustic feel to the whole beer, some mild honey sweetness throughout also. Good start to the evening.

Odd shaped 75cl bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, June 19. Bought in a Gamm Vert somewhere in the depths of Northern France. Pours a misty amber, frothy off white top. Aroma is honey-like sweet yeast. A serviceable blonde overall with a gentle honey-lined sweetness.
