Description
Temporal Artisan Ales is a brewing project that is crafting delicate oak-aged beers in a shared space at Luppolo Brewing Company in Vancouver, BC. The beers we create are fermented 100% in our oak barrels over lengthy periods of time, imparting delicate complexity. Portions of separate barrels are blended to enhance specific characteristics unique to each barrel. Every beer we release has been meticulously crafted from start to finish.

This pours deep pink with whiteish head, smooth synthesizers on the back end, it smells softly of brett yeast and sweet cranberry, sharp yet memorable and then there's these three kids in this movie hustling for bus fare by playing Double Dragon... did that ever really work? The flavour is sharp and tart cranberry and currant, a bit of cloying sweetness. Medium on the mouth. It probably just works as another okay fruity ale.

Dark red, thin head. Big deep fruit, lots oc wood. Fun, but quite acetic. You gotta like currants.

Cloudy, just a thin head. Crazy spice, chile, chocolate, so whacky...may or may not come together...funky as hell.

Red currants and a touch of buttery notes. Deep red with a decent white head. Nice soured red currants and some more Oder that buttery barrel notes.

Bottle at Farmhouse Fest 2019, pours a cloudy bright golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of pine needles, spicy notes, and oak. Flavour is quite spicy, with lots of pine needles, oak, and acidic stone fruits. Piney and spicy. Unusual but good.

Bottle at Farmhouse Fest 2019, pours a bright pinkish red with a small white head. Aroma brings out tart red currants, light oak and some wild yeast. Flavour is along the same lines, with lots of tart red currants, plenty of acidity and a little oak. A bit harsh and acidic, but it's very pleasant. Fun beer.

Bottle at Luppolo, Vancouver
Hazy blond colour. Initially it has a strong smell that is almost like a fart, suldur, that fades quickly. Sharp but not excessive acidity, strong character from the grapes, vinous, asteingent, lightly funky, touch of apricot in the finish.
I like this a lot.

Red colour, bright, hazy. The aroma is funky, a bit farty, the fruit is strong, sour stone fruit, young red wine. Tart mouthfeel, but also so juicy, with a touch of funk, and dry astringent finish. Excellent.

Corked bottle at Luppolo, Vancouver
Dark ruby/purple colour. Deep berry aroma. Dry mouthfeel, the lack of carbonation suits well, the acidity is less aggressive; strong berry flavour, a bit yeasty and cheesy in the finish.
Very good.
