Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, light roasted, chocolate notes, light raisin, light leather notes. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a long to average duration. Cask@GBBF2010. Golden colour with small white head. Aroma is fruits, quite nectary, citrusy as well as mildly grassy. Flavour is quite much the same. Tonguetickling carbonation. Quite easy to drink.

From cask. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is dry and hoppy fruity. Smooth malty, sweet and slight fruity. Slight bitter and dry hoppy. Bitter and malty into a slight phenolic dry finish.

50 cL bottle. Pours dark black with a small tan head. Aroma is dense ginger and dark malty. Acidic and dark malty flavoured. Distinct ginger. Citric and dark roasted malty. Dark malty into the finish. Ends dry.

Cask at Windsor locale beer festival 2010. A golden colored pour with a small white head. Fresh fruity aroma. Tastes hoppy, citrus fruit, slight bitterness. A light but easy drinking golden ale.

(Cask at White Horse, Parson’s Green, London, 22 May 2010) Reddish brown colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with dark fruit, caramel and dusty hops. Malty, fruity taste with notes of caramel, dried fruit and some dusty hops in the finish. Light body, fairly sweet for a mild. Decent and drinkable.

Cask, gravity at The White Horse, Hedgerley, 18th ’Coming of Age’ Beer Festival 29-05-10 Pours gold, this is clear, clean good looking beer. Some soapy hoppiness at first, this then gives way to a more lighter sweet citrus flavour. Its a bit thin but in fairness after a 6.6% beer it was always going to be thus. Enjoyable and drank well for the abv. A6 A4 T6 P3 Ov13 3.2

Cask gravity at Reading BF 2010. Gold orange colour. Sweet fruit salad aroma. Decent. Very dry bitter quite interesting, biscuit. Decent balance ok hop, very easy drinking. Nice biscuit.
