Bottle picked up from a supermarket near Attersee and consumed at home Thursday 23rd May 2024 listening to Huw Stephens on 6Music it's Round Table, cooking (warming up) a Thomasina Miers recipe Chilli with all the extras. Pours warm gold with a white head. Soft mouthfeel, a little sweetness, the honey showing. This certainly doesn't taste like a 7% beer but it's very pleasant.

Picked up from a Spar supermarket just north of Attersee (they had about 7-8 of their beers) had this sat on the balcony at home Monday 20th May 2024, we're cooking Lamb Kebabs later with Feta and Chorizo Kebabs and a Freekah & Tomato accompaniment. Pours gold, good clarity with a mid sized clinging white head. Soft mouthfeel, nice carbonation, some sweetness but bitterness builds slowly and overtakes, a decent hoppy thrust. Good.

I guess that this is a regular autumnal seasonal beer, however my bottle is slightly out of date, BBD is 30.04.24, though it certainly doesn't taste any the worse for this. A hazy dark amber, with a good robust maltiness, light hoppiness, soft mouthfeel, a little tangy edge. It's fine.

Bottle picked up from a Spar supermarket just north of Attersee (they had about 7-8 of their beers) had this sat outside Frank at Camping Grabner, Seefeld/Steinbach am Attersee Saturday 18th May 2024, Loz made Mexican Burgers and is about to cook them, we did a great 14km hike today. Pours gold with a little haze, a pleasant fruity tang and whilst there is a bitterness it lacks a crispness and dry finish, it's not a bad beer at all and I actually quite like it, more so as I drink it, however I wish there were a few more typical Pils attributes here.

On tap at the brewpub, Seefeld, Steinbach am Attersee, Friday 17th May 2024. Difficult to determine the colour as poured into a Krug but there is a white head. A little nutty and with a good maltiness, soft mouthfeel, tasty but not quite sure what it's pitching itself to be.

On tap at the brewpub, Seefeld, Steinbach am Attersee, Friday 17th May 2024. Pours dark gold with a mid sized white head. Soft mouthfeel, a little creamy edge, good banana touches and a little spiciness, these attributes show more in the mouth than the nose. Solid Weizen.

Bottle at the brewpub, Seefeld, Steinbach am Attersee, Friday 17th May 2024. Pours dark gold with a slim white head. Smokiness is subtle light bacon touches. Smooth in the mouth, could possibly benefit from a touch more carbonation, a little sweetness and a pleasant roastiness. Pretty decent.

Bottle picked up from Biertemple Linz. Had this at home Friday 8th September 2023, sat outside looking at the stars after another fantastic day listening to Afrodeutscha on 6Music. Pours shark eye black color with a mid sized light beige head. Plenty of roasted malts on the nose coupled with chocolate a tangy note and some coffee. The taste following a similar trajectory, it's a very smooth and classic impy stout, with the roasted malts leading the way again, providing a nice roasty bitter edge, good dark chocolate, the tanginess is there, coffee a little muted, a little liquorice here as well. After some recent disappointments on the impy stout scene for me, this beer shows how it should be done, it's a no nonsense excellent example of the style.

Bottle bb 30.12.2023. Golden, slightly hazy body, with a big, fluffy, white head. Aroma of grains, fresh herbs, pine, flowers, bread, some ripe fruits. Tastes similar, with some more honey and slight salt. Medium, oily moutfheel. Finishes medium bitter, floral, herbal, a bit salty, with piney hops. Very quaffable and fully aromatic, with a slight salty impression. Didn't get much of the coriander. Score: 7 / 4 / 7 / 4 / 15
