Cask handpull at Millers Arms, Canterbury. Fruity porter with dark black fruits. Blackcurrant and tangerine. Good porter. Good fruits. Attractive with some soft choc/coffee. Deep brown colour with thin beige lasting head. Good condition

500ml bottle. Dark copper colour with thick lasting beige head. Slightly dead malt on nose with some citric hop. bit dead in the mouth but then with good lemony citric finish. Hops are a bit peppery as well. Some caramel throughout. Would be a really nice beer if it wasn’t for the pasteurisation

Draught. Copper coloured, caffrey’slike huge white creamy head. After "settling a few minutes" it is still big and creamy, and the creamy head lasts until the beer ends. Fruity aroma with hints of hops and also some caramellishlike hints. Fruity and caramellish flavour. It’s very sweet also. Hoppy and fruity aftertaste. Good carboration and pleasant in most ways.

Small, offwhite head; brown body. Nutty, earthy aroma, with sweetish malt notes. Powerfully nutty taste, quite bitter. Ends in dry, sharp aftertaste. Roasty, pine needle notes linger. Nice, although a bit one-dimensional, and perhaps a bit too agressive for the lack of complexity. (Bottle.)

(Bottle 50 cl) Clear, very pretty nutty colour with a handsome, tall and bubbly head leaving lots of laces. Unusually potent for an ESB, but in spite of a good and rounded body, the alcohol isn’t really too present. Nutty maltiness with an underlying sweetness and some good, bitter hops in the finish. 150502

[Cask at Charlie’s Bar, Copenhagen] An orange beer with a small dense orange head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of peaches on a malty toffee back drop. The flavor is very sweet with powerful notes of peaches to start off, then turning to straw combined with weak notes of strawberry youghurt. Slightly cloying.
