Bottled. Rubyish red colour, mediumsized white head. Spices. malts, sugary sweet and some yeast in the aroma. Flavour is sweet malts, spices, yeast and some slight caramel.

Orange unclear with very fine head. Malts, orange, apricot , spice & yeast. Medium body. Alcohol is preset - warming!. Good head & lacings. 2 years in the cellar will "destroy" the alcohol feel and make this a 4 rating. Had expected a bit more!!!

[i]Bottle, Brouwershof, Watou, West Flanders, Belgium, 26-06-07[/i] Smooth well rounded beer with with a nice snappy bite and edge to it that suggests that the hops are never too far away, poured orange golden in colour with a nice softness to it as well, nice beer.

Bottle, at Cafe Le Paix, Poperinge, West Flanders, Belgium 27-06-07. Glowing orange in colour with haze and white bubbly head, wonderful beer with lovely balance of sweetness and bitterness. This had more depth of flavour and complexity than the Guldenberg it was being tasted alongside, this didn’t necessarily make it a better beer but in Loz’s opinion it was.

From 33 cL bottle. Pours dark brown with little head. Sweet, dried fruit and slight sour. Flavour is sweet malty, raisin flavoured. Cloying sweet into a malty finish.

Hazy pale yellow color, big cloudy white head. Fruity banana in the nose with light notes of coriander and paper. Refreshing, crisp mouthfeel. Wheaty, light spicey flavor. A bit hoppy finish. Dry short aftertaste. Basic witbier.
