Bottled. Clear brown, brief head. Sweet and caramelly with clean hard mouthfeel. Simplistic cardboardy malt, some saccharine adds to the misery. Low bitterness.

Bottle, sat outside my tent with this beer I’d picked up at the Spar shop Ypres 24-07-07. A pleasant ale that pours almost brown in colour, nice chewy sweetness large white frothy head, not a lot more to add but fine enough.

Dark nut brown color, not much head. Caramelly aroma. Raisin sweet flavor, artifical saccarine sweetness too. Hints of rye bread. Hard watery mouthfeel.

Bottled. >/i> Clear reddish amber, brief head. Caramelly nose with a whiff of red berries. Sweet with plastic rounded mouthfeel. Subdued flavours of saccharine, herbal spices, butter and black cherries. Fairly interesting flavours, but the hard, plastic moutfheel is really a problem for mr.

Bottled. Hazy pale yellow, brief head. Aroma of boiled cauliflower. Sweet and lightly fruity with raw aggresive mouthfeel. Notes of minerals befoer a salty finish. Un-fantastic.

A bit hazy yellow, not much head. Sourish, aroma of cabbage soup. Cooked vegetables and yeast in the flavor. Very unbalanced beer and makes me stress more.

Bottle picked up from Spar, Ypres Belgium 23-06-07. This was a super little pale amber coloured ale that had a very individual taste quite different to many of it’s Belgian Ale rivals. A styleish and great summer ale that was easy drinking, light in taste and displaying some nice fruity touches.

(Bottle, Monk’s Café, Stockholm) Brownish yellow colour, slightly hazy, with firm beige/yellow head. Fruity, sweetish nose with notes of mango, pineapple and grassy hops, slightly sweaty. Malty, grassy taste with notes of tropical fruit, rather sweet in the middle and with generous doses of grassy, spicy hops in the finish. The hops are a bit masked by the malty sweetness in the aroma, but come through very nicely in the taste. Overall a rather nice beer, a bit different form many Belgian ales (which feels very refreshing).

Bottle: Poured a cloudy yellow with a creamy white head. The aroma is wheat and citrus. The taste is citrus but also large tons of a rusty metallic like flavor. I’m not a big witbier drinker but this one is drinkable to me.

Bottle: Poured a murky brown with a little white head. The aroma was very sweet and veggy and spice. The taste was super sweet malt with a spicy finish.
