Sampled at the brewery. Pours a mahogany brown with some beige head. Nutty nose, pine, choc, coffee, vegetal, some fresh hop leaf. Flavor is malty, cracker, bread, vinous, pine, herbal, coffee. Bitter, dry finish. Really nice.

Sampled at the brewery. Pours a caramel amber with one ring of head. Nose is malty, booze, caramel, cherry, cough syrup. Flavor is very boozy, almost a touch of mustard, cherry, caramel, whiskey, worm wood. Boozy finish. So so.

Sampled at the brewery. Pours a hazy caramel amber with some thin, beige head. Nose is very boozy, vegetal too, candy sugar, prune, orange, raisin. Flavor is boozy, orange peel, raisin, prune, candy, mild spice. Boozy, hot finish. Pretty good treatment. Love to sit on a few bottles.

Bottled@PBF VIII. More or less pitch black (very deep ruby colour) with a small beigeish brown head. Aroma is chocolate, coffee, mild roasted and tobaccoish notes to it. Flavour is chocolate, quite roasted along with some caramel, alcohol and a bit of liquorice. Solid and highly drinkable.

Aroma has rather neat cocoa notes and dark chocolate. Flavour has salty licorice, some coffee notes and some dark chocolate. Also some woody notes. Nice, but does not reach the top.

Bottled at PBF. Pitch black, small beige head. Chocolate and coffee up front. Sweet with full body and rounded mouthfeel. Dark chocolate, salt and coffee. Bold fudge. Salty warming finish. Solid chocolaty imperial stout.
