Cask at the Bridge, Kingswinford. Pours a hazy golden with a small head. The nose is floral hops with some citrus. Had a floral hoppy start, slightly piney with some sweetness and a medium bitter finish.

Bottle 500ml.Clear medium to dark amber color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, light butter, toffee notes, light hoppy. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration, butter notes. Body is medium to light, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20101015]

Botle 50 cl. Pours a clear amber with an off-white head. Extreme butterscotch in the nose. Light body, some roast and licorice, dryish finish. Fortunately the butter remains in the nose only. 151010

Big offwhite head. Amber body with lots of carbonation. Light grassy toffeeish aroma with sugary notes. Dry-sweetish grassy papery toffee taste with spicy fruity notes. Mild mouthfeel. Light body. Harshly bitter papery resiny toffee aftertaste with metallic notes. Tastes like a harsh quality lager. Not impressed. (0.5l bottle, Centra, Oslo.)

500 ml bottle. Clear, golden body with a desent off-white head. Aroma is malt and caramel, more dusty than hoppy, a hint of old bread. Flavor is malty, bread and caramel with a moderate bitter finish. Relatively light and plain, but definitively drinkable and a decent thirst-quencher.

500 ml green bottle, as Jennings Cumberland Ale, from MENY Stadionparken, Stavanger. ABV is 4,7%. Deep golden colour, moderate white head. Moderate aroma of "dusty" hops, hints of toffee. Fairly refreshing flavour, dry hops on a background of subtle malts and a hint of fruit. Bitter aftertaste with some unpleasant metallic notes.

50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head, no lacing. Aroma is slight herbal and grassy hoppy, vague citrusy - classic UK hops profile. Slight metallic and dry herbal hops flavoured. Rather dry. Bitter and grassy finish, vague citrusy touch.

Medium brown with a nice head. Dark sugars, burnt orange, treacle and sticky toffee pudding...fun nose. Deep treacle/molasses character. Nice, subtle plummy-fruity depths, accented by a hint of alcohol. Complex, well-constructed beer. Very tasty.

Cask handpump consumed at The Loggerheads, Shrewsbury 28.08.10 Pours gold with a large white creamy head, just a tiny bit of haze noted. Some creaminess is detected in the mouth, citrus on the nose, crisp, refreshing beer, but no great shakes. A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov13 3.3
