Description

Taste: Moderate to over moderate tart, mix of apple vinegar, vinuous white wine, rural Brett funk, fruity pear, citrus and stone fruit, wood, subtle spicy notes. Malty base. Medium body, below average carbonation. Light sweetness. Nice one.

2020 bottle from the brewery. Rather thin body, med-light carbonation. Med-light sourness and tartness, well complementing each other. Only a soft acetic character, the overall flavour is well rounded with a bit of wood. Well attenuated, low sweetness, background bitterness. Overall could use a bit more depth and intensity, but at least it is easy drinking. ABV hidden well too. Good one.

Bottle at the brewery. Quite subtle jasmin presence, which is really hard to pick up due to the rather assertive phenolic spicy yeastiness. Light bitterness, light sweetness. Easy drinking, feels more or less like a standard saison. Good.

Bottle at the brewery. Rather thin body, rather high carbonation. The 12% added Cantillon beer adds a definite presence of horsey barnyard funk, you can easily tell it is here. Easy drinking though, soft, with not much in terms of sourness. Rather a nice balance of med-light bitterness, phenolic spiciness, and only a bit of sourness. Background malt and hops. Quite good, easy drinking, soft.

Bottle at the brewery. Thin body, high carbonation. Med-light bitterness, low sweetness, quite watery, but that is the point I guess. Subtle spicy and a bit fruity hops character. Maybe a bit of Belgiany yeast too? Overall pretty easy drinking, very sessionable. Very clean. Quite good.

Bottle at the brewery. Med-thin body, med-high carbonation. Pretty assertive phenolic belgiany yeast presence. Soft malty background. Med-low bitterness, light sweetness. Overall rather spicy, not much hops to be found here. Pretty weird for an IPA, this does not resemble the style at all. It is a pretty easy drinking sessionable beer though, with ABV hidden well. Quite good.
