Description

17/VIII/24 - 75cl bottle @ GBV No-Festival-Bottle-Share, BB: n/a (2024-761) Thanks to Stephanie for sharing the bottle!

Clear amber beer, big bubbled small aery irregular head, a little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: super smoky, very peated, some caramel, malty touch. MF: ok carbon, medium to light body. Taste: sourish start, surprisingly acidic, wasn’t expecting this… a bit smoky, fruity, peaches and apricots. Aftertaste: sourish, very peated, fruity notes, lemony, ok but not great.

-1 Point for the clear glass abomination. Small white head over clear, well-bubbled very pale yellow-greenish beer. End of bottle solid deposit. Spicy/herbal nose, dried malts, maltsugars. Again malts above; faint honey notes within the finish. I didn't find smoke, holy or not. Greenmalt. Quite slick, deposit helping in the end; only medium carbonated. Holy smoke is holy sh*t. Txs to Stef!

Bottle from the interweb somewhere. It pours clear golden - orange with a decent fluffy white head. The aroma is fresh and bright, tropical fruits, pineapple chunks, candied lemon, peachy, lychee, sherbet and marmalade sandwiches. The taste is crispy, dry, snappy, touch of bitterness, spice, pithy, zesty citrus, tropical fruits, pineapple chunks, lychee, touch of grass and some floral accents with a drying, zesty finish. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Rather like this. Good pineapple vibes.
