Bottled. A hazy dark golden beer with a yellowish head. The aroma has notes of flowery hops, malt, and fruit. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, spices, hops, and elderflowers, leading to a very bitter finish.

50 cL bottle. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is herbal hoppy, light butterish and cheesy. Solid bitter, spiced, herbal and dry grassy. Ends bitter and dry. Overdone on the hops.

Deep copper coloured body with a thick tan head and a nice bronze coloured tint - very nice looking, actually. Aroma of nice fresh yet light english hops, grass, hay, light malt and a touch of sweetness. Light-bodied; A touch of a peach or apricot flavour at first with some malt, a touch of caramel, some toffee and the faintest of hints of hops - not much at all though. Aftertaste is quite mild with some malt, a touch of toffee and not much else. Overall, a pretty bland and uninspired beer - definitely not an IPA, closer to an English Pale, but I think even that would be off quite a bit. Regardless, not really worth sampling, unless you came from across the country and wanted to pick up random beers. I sampled this 50 cL bottle purchased from BevMo in Walnut Creek, California on 19-March-2011 sampled at home in Washington on 14-June-2011.

500 ml bottle from BevMo Salinas. Nose is some citrus and buttery diacetyl. Lightly hazy orange with a medium off white head. Flavor is buttered popcorn and some light bitterness. Not my cup of tea IPAwise.

50cl bottle pours a watery, opaque black with a frothy, tan head. Nose of cookies, chocolate malt candies, bread. Flavor is really weak, light malt, light chocolate, a little bread, watered down brownie batter. Watery, weak finish. The nose promises something enjoyable but everything else is watered down.

22 fl oz bottle. Pours hazy dark brown to orange witha small white head. Aroma is spiced and slight herbal hoppy. Bitter, fruity and pinewood. Ends bone dry and bitter.

Bomber a gift from Kiapepito and Enniskillen they got at Bevmo Salinas. Nose is light tart cherries, brown sugar, and a little milk. Clear rusty red with a small beige head. Flavor is a little tartness mixed with cherries and a lot of metallic notes. Not near as good as their Saison I had last.

Bomber a gift from Kiapepito and Enniskillen they got at Bevmo Salinas. Nose is yeasty, with mild hints of banana, citrusy tartness, and a sweet note. Lightly hazy orange with constant bubbliness, and one finger, very long lasting, heavily lacing, pale yellow head. Flavor is typical saison with yeast, light constrasting tart and sweet caramel notes, and even a finishing hint of bitterness.

Bottle. Last of the single hops (thank god). Pours with a murky golden brown hued body and a large, off-white, fluffy head that fades pretty quickly. Aromas are citrus, earthy, herbal, tropical fruit, pungent, dank hops. Trademark (it seems) phenolic, smokey, band-aid Hermitage yeast aroma is quite present. Plastic and campfire. Sweet, crystal malt. Flavors are hoppy, soapy, herbal, astringent, infection. Grainy, husky tannins, phenolic smokiness. Lasting smokey flavors. Caramel, bready. Medium to lively bubbles, dry finish with some astringencies. Even at the cheap price, Hermitage beers often feel like a rip-off.
