One of a large number of samples I had at the Extreme Beer Fest in Boston 3/21/32014. Grape jelly and tripel, interesting.

Draught. Pale yellow with very small white foamy head, doughy aroma, high carbonation, slight citrus taste, abrupt finish. Quite refreshing.

Tap at Bierkraft, Brooklyn. Opaque brown color, small steady brown head. Aroma has coffee and sourness. Light-bodied to medium-bodied. Tart citric flavor with toasted porter notes. Citric and salty finish. Not your everyday session brew.

The Sampler, Brooklyn tap: Pours black with a creamy head. Aroma is minerals, sour malts, some chocolate, and some roast. Taste is pretty much a sour stout (apparently they combined a gose and an oyster stout together to create this beer). Minerally aftertaste. Pretty interesting. I kind of like this style.

Location: 16 oz can from Sparrow, 2/9/15

Aroma: The nose is pretty standard, with some sweet, cereal, and grainy malts
Appearance: Pours a clear orange-gold color with a small ring of head and light, spotty lace
Flavor: The flavor is all about the same malt bill, grains and cereal, fairly sweet, mild bitterness
Palate: Light bodied, not watery, with a lively carbonation, a clean feel, and a lightly dry finish
Overall Impression: You can't help but enjoy this drinkable beer, even if it isn't all that exciting. It works quite well in this style. I'm always happy to have a flavorful, drinkable, low alcohol beer, and this is one. Looking forward to drinking cans of this more often now that is has made its way in Jersey.

Tap at Hoptron in Patchogue, NY - lightly hazy gold - nose of mild smoke and some lactic tartness - not much else - flavor is light - just a bit of tartness and a very subdued smokiness, a touch of lemon - slight mineral near the finish - overall kind of watery and lacking the complexity I was hoping for, but kind of refreshing.

The Sampler, Bushwick tap: Pours dark orange with a white head. Aroma is spice, squash, and Belgian yeast. I was expecting something a little maltier, but instead I got a more fruity, squashy, effervescent ale. Certainly interesting with a plenty unique taste.

Tap at brewery. Pours fine gold with nose of grains and hop. Pretty hoppy for cream ale, light biscuits, grains, and grass. Smooth fresh and very drinkable.

Found some old rating notes from TapNY 2013 that somehow never got entered.
There's not a ton of detail in the notes for this beer, just that I really enjoyed it. Just a score and the fact that I enjoyed the malt profile quite a bit. If/when I find this beer again I'll have to do a rating update.
