12oz bottles, shared with friend. Pretty wild how much it tasted and smelled like a pumpkin. cool to try, not sure i would ever seek this out though.

Cork & Caged 750ml bottle, drank on 2nd January 2023 in Laguna Hills. This years version is a dark and slightly tarter one than I've had before. Still has that 'Belgian' feel which is a great asset. Dark fruits rule the taste, along with a boozy base. Another good year!

Bottle - dark purple - lively carbonation kicks up a thick, lasting head - dark of dark fruit and vinous red wine notes, a bit of mustiness and spice - sweet up front, with plum and other dark fruits - the middle brings peppery spice and moderate herbal notes - finish dries out slightly and brings some vinous character - it’s actually pretty tasty.

Bottle. Blackish beer with a tan head. Light roast and light chocolate aroma with yeast. Caramel and yeast flavor with light spice and light dark fruit. Medium bodied. Light caramel and yeast linger with spice and light dark fruit.

750 c&c from Trader Joe's in Davis, CA. Pours very dark brown with a large creamy beige/tan head. Aroma of yeast/spice and mixed dark fruits. Heading towards full bodied. Flavor is very spice, but with some yeast, and the fruit is toward fig/date, but in a tasty way. Not dry, but not overly sweet. Malt is brown. Light bitterness. Extremely good flavor.

Perfectly clear, almost ghostly white coloured body with a small touch of golden coming in the body, but no head at all, of course. Aroma of deep spices with allspice, nutmeg, canella and a good dash of star anise - quite strong in the nose with some light squash notes and a good deal of spiced pear versus mild apples. Super light-bodied; Very strong pear and fruit notes show at first with a mild touch of sugars and honey, but the spices show very strongly at the end, in a good way, with a pretty easy-drinking profile. Aftertaste shows a very crisp fruit note with again more pear, but a solid amount of dryness, a little dose of sugars and of course a ton of spices here make this nice and robust throughout. Overall, a pretty nice spiced cider with a bunch of spices, a great level of sweetness and a good robust, easy-drinking cider that is enjoyable as something 'different' than heavier beers, especially during the chilly season. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle, purchased from Trader Joe's in Bailey's Crossroads (Skyline), Virginia, Falls Church on 19-October-2022 for US$1,79 with a 'best consumed before' date of 11-August-2023 sampled at my hotel room here in Newport News, Virginia on 19-November-2022.

Purchased at Trader Joe's in Vermont a while back. Brown colour with some copper-ruby highlights, a decent frothy light mocha-coloured head, good stay and some patchy foam lacing. Minty aromas over the roasted malts that give out dark fruits, cherries and other berry notes. The cherry flavours shine over the rest. The minty hops lingers and a little dryness appears. Maybe some chocolate malts in there, butterscotch and caramel show up. Goes down nicely and does not seem to be the usual Unibroue Belgian yeast. Another interesting brew from Unibroue, which I wish we did not have to drive down to the States to purchase.
