12 ounce bottle thanks to hershiser2! 8/20/22. Clear brown-red, thin head, poor retention. Aroma of tart apple, sweet strawberry. Taste is much the same. Some citrus too. Hi carb. Strawberry is not too dominant. Good balance. Decent cider.

12 ounce bottle thanks to hershiser2! 8/19/22. Hazy yellow, thin fizzy white head, average retention. Aroma of tart and sweet pineapple, sweet apple. Taste is strong pineapple, mostly sweet, some tartness, sweet apple. High carb. Solid overall.

This is actually a decent cider. There’s a straightforward apple aroma and flavor and it’s not overly sweet. It’s nothing too exciting but it’ll do.

Wowie, 70 cents for a can of craft 6.2% lager from trader joes in NC, YEA BABY! Pour is slightly darker than pale. Off lager nose, not real pleasant. First taste is somewhat like aged cheap ie lager, heheh. A little volatile for a 6% brew, tastes more like 7%, no hiding alky content here. I know its only 70 cents but I was expecting something a little like cheap pale lager, this is almost like strong lager, I think its in the wrong style. Should be premium lager or strong lager. Yes a little difficult. But hey, it does its job! Not real bad overall considering the heat outside. Glad to have had a chance to taste this cheaper high alky beer.

Pours near black with a one finger tan head. The aroma is of dark roast malt, coffee and chocolate. The flavor is similar, a full roasty flavor with well balanced bitterness and a dry finish. This is a surprisingly good stout at a low price point.

Pours hazy yellow with an aroma of pineapple and apple. The flavor is sweeter than I prefer but the prominent tart pineapple balances it some. There’s some apple there too. Straightforward.

Pours reddish brown and smells mostly of caramel malt. It tastes sweeter than the stated ibus would suggest. Caramelmalt. A little hops bitterness. It’s pretty average though that makes it quite good for the price point.

Pours hazy and pale with a lingering white head. Aroma is clove, wheat and a little citrus. The flavor is spicy with clove and wheat malt. A little hops. Pretty good hefe.

This beer has a mild aroma of caramel and grainy malt. The sweet flavor is similar with some light hops bitterness. Pretty bland. It’s better than the pale lager though it’s still just mediocre.
