Description
Independently-owned craft brewery providing North Carolina with quality beers since 1994.
Beginning in 1994 with a 7 barrel converted dairy system, we set and accomplished the goal of providing unique traditional ales & lagers available through OHB. Quickly we outgrew that system.
In 1997, we began the renovation of an 1880 Historic Landmark building, which now houses our brewing facilities, a 25-barrel Price Schonstrom brew house.

Op tap bij Beer Temple. Bijzonder matige BIPA, grassig, groen, kookvocht, iets gebrand, nee niet voor mij dit bier.

Bottle. Almost clear golden, medium white head, ok lasting. Sweet fruity nose, quite flowery, later quite some resin. Gently sweet start, moderate bitterness, a bit herbal. Flowery finish and lasting herbal, dry aftertaste. Lighter body. Nice IPA.

35,5 cl bottle @ home, bottled 13.02.2020. Thanks olio! Aroma has sweet caramel, toffee candy and chocolate. Flavour has chocolate, some resin, chocolate and biscuity malt. Something between British and American BW. Has also features from scotch ale, imperial brown ale and doppelbock. Nicely balanced; rich but not too sweet.
