Cask at The William Morris (Wetherspoons), Hammersmith, London. A dark golden coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Vague hoppy, grapefruit aroma. Tastes hoppy, grapefruit, quite bitter, zesty. This one started well but I got rather bored with it towards the end of the pint. It’s OK though.

Cask at the Bell, Waltham St Lawrence. Pale straw with a ring of white head; intense floral aromasoft and silky with a luxourious mouth feel, some honey - but not sweet, and lightly spiced with a grainy body; then an appealing fruity bitterness. An excellent, satisfying blonde.
