Bottle from Cheers, Todmorden. Clear golden with some carbonation and a frothy head. The single hop is more than evident with a high bitterness to it, but there some fruit in here too with citrus orange prevalent.

Cask at the Lion Tavern - Liverpool. Pours clear gold with a frothy, white head that leaves rings of lacing. Mellow aroma with hay, dry toasty pale malts, a bit of dry lemon. Light sweet flavor with some astringent grains, lemon rind, crispy pale malts. Light bodied with fine carbonation; OK condition. Grassy and grainy bitterness to finish, some dried pale malts, rindy citrus. OK.

Cask @ Thomas Telford, Ellesmere Port. I’ve not had the 5.1% version yet but this is a medium to full-bodied golden ale with some fruits evident although there’s a dominant sweetness. Slips down the palate well.

Bottle from Cheers Liquor Store, Todmorden. Hazed amber with a lovely underlying orange citrus fruit flavour that lingers, although it feels and smells like a pale ale in texture and taste.

Bottle. Golden with a thick frothy head. Lager style ale, but with a smooth malt texture that goes down well in the palate. Not high on flavour though.
