500ml bottle from a near-neighbour of the brewery, shared with Ashton McCobb. Pours clear copper with a decent, long-lasting white head. Bit of butterscotch on the nose, soapy and floral hops. Taste brings a touch more interest, some spice. OK for a best bitter.

50cl bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - a lovely lava colour with a nice thin lacy head. Nose - mild chocolate biscuits, with a touch of pine/floral. Taste - biscuit and spices. Palate - surprisingly light body for a bitter, decently balanced finish though. Overall - a solid citizen.

Gravity dispense at the Happy Man Autumn BF, Englefield Green, 11/10/13. Clear golden with a thin off white head. Nose is toasty malt, citurs, orange, a little subdued. Taste carries more depth, orange pith, toasty malts, lemon rind. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, dry grassy bitterness in the finish. Not enough hop presence for an APA - good old golden blonde in my book, an average to drinkable one at that.

Cask at GBBF 2013. It pours golden yellow with a medium white head. The nose is smooth, juicy, tangerine and orange squash. The taste is orange squash, tangerine, grapefruit, light resin, marmalade and decent bitterness with a dry, citric finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Rather nice.
