BIAB sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers Graham! Red-purple colour, some pink-purple bubbles on top that dissipate away and aroma of blackcurrant, berries, mucky. Taste is sweet, blackcurrants, ribena, apple, formic hints, some tartness. Medium bodied, low carbonation, dry finish. Quite OK

30/7/2021. From BIAB at the Redoubt Beer Festival, Harwich. Pours clear dark red purple with a small bubbly off-white/pink head. Aroma of blackcurrant, mixed berries, apple and touch of cranberry juice. Medium plus sweetness, light tartness. Moderate body, oily sticky texture, soft to flat carbonation. Dry, sticky sweet blackcurrant finish.

Bottle from Cooperative Supermarket, Salcombe. Light golden crisp cider with a good apple flavour, slightly dry, with a lightly soured finish. Its strength is not that evident.
