Op tap bij Walhalla. Troebelgele kleur, witte kraag. Fruitig, tropisch, netels, zweetoksels, vers hoppig, redelijk zoet maar niet overdadig, lichtbittere finish. Lichte body. Prima, maar wel wat generiek.

Op tap bij Walhalla. Goudgele kleur, witte kraag. Geur is fris, grassig, licht bloemig, iets fruitig, hint van honing, licht moutig, flink bitter. Mooie strakke pils, geproefd naast de Apollo en Pluto stak er echt met kop en schouders bovenuit wat mij betreft.

Gele kleur, als troebele sinas, maar dan met schuim. Geur van citrus, grapefruitschil, harsige hop, dank, iets zoetig. Retronasaal wordt het al snel steeds juicier. Smaak is bitterig en iets zoetig en ook steeds juicier. Medium body. Afdronk is medium bitter en blijft nog lang hangen. Goed spul, laten ze hier maar een regular van maken.

0.33 l can from 'Hetbiermoment.nl', best before March 2027. A little hazy, deep ruby with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, off-white head. Sweetish-malty, gently fruity-resiny aroma of orange jam, tobacco, pine, chocolate and light grapefruit. Quite sweet, malty, moderately bitter, gently fruity-resiny and a little roasty taste of caramel, cocoa, pine, tobacco, grapefruit and orange jam, followed by a medium long, gently bitter finish. Medium to full body, smooth and slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very outspoken brew, the hops probably make it much more interesting.

Tap at Arendsnest, 4th February 2026. Second Amsterdam visit for 2026. Pours a thick, dark orange haze. Aroma is mangoes, marmalade, taste is rich, right, dank, earthy and bitter marmalade with citrus. Excellent hop combination

Can from Drankenhandel Leiden. Nice balance between sturdy malts and resinous hop. Picking up toasted brown malts, spicy notes, caramel, resin. Mild to medium bittersweet flavour. Very nice.

Can picked up from Walhalla brewpub in Amsterdam and consumed sat in Frank at Plattling station carpark Thursday 22nd January 2026. Pours pitch black, light beige head. Bitter and roasty, light smokiness builds. Thick slightly oily mouthfeel, smooth and with a little dryness at the end. Good Imperial Stout. Score 7.8
