Description
St.Ives Brewery was founded in 2010 by former publican Marco Amura and has steadily grown, experimented and learned a few lessons along the way. Boilers Golden Cornish Ale was our original session ale and remains as popular today as it was back then.

Recently we have consolidated a decade of experience and launched a new core range - we hope you enjoy them! We believe in 'The Art of Brewing'; heavily-hopped IPA's, modern classics and an incredible view from our tap room!

In 2015 we found our new home on Trenwith Burrows and set up our 10 brewers barrel plant along with gift shop and cafe above. With stunning views over St.Ives harbour and onwards to Godrevy Lighthouse, there could not be a more picturesque location to brew award winning beers.

In late 2022 the brewery moved to brand new premises in Hayle.

Can from Beer52. It pours darkest brown with a dissipating light tan head. The aroma is rich roasted malt, festive spice, cinnamon , nutmeg, light vanilla, bitter - sweet character, chocolate, toffee sauce and Jamaican gingerbread. The taste is firm and dry upfront, dark roasted malt, plenty of warming festive spice, gingerbread, toffee sauce, touch of alcohol, light umami and some light charred notes with a roasty, spicy finish. Medium body and average carbonation. Not as sweet as I had feared. Actually not too shabby.

33cl Blik uit een Britse supermarkt. Iets mistig oranjegouden kleur, witte kraag. Licht hoppig, fruitig, perzik, redelijk zoet, meer een hoppige Golden Ale dan ISA maar kan er mee door. Lichte body.

440ml can at Tŷ Seidr, Aberystwyth. Poured a hazy yellow golden colour with a big lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy malt, light tropical citrus. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a fresh, smooth, dry, mineral, light citrus, light pepper spice, woody hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.
