500ml bottle from Unwins. Orange colour with thin beige head. Some nice tangerine hop aroma and a bit of sulphur. Then a bit like orangeade in the mouth. I can see why someone likened it to cream soda. It has that cheap soft drink feel to it. There is some hoppy bite on the end. You don’t really notice the alcohol. Bit biscuity, but its the orange fruit for me that dominates. Fine, some juicy malt.

Bottle. No freshness date. Poured into a nonick pint. Deep golden color with active carbonation and long lasting head. Not unappealing, but doesn’t make me want to jump in. Very slight candy malt aroma. Very tinny malt taste -- nice lively body. Bitter finish tastes like a bottle cap -- perhaps not the freshest.

Bottle.Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Dark red brown colour. Wonderfull berr to look at. Alas no aroma, but powerfull taste of licorice. Fantastic long finish. Oily palate but too carbonated.

Hazy amber-orange body, thin light cream head. Musty aroma, a bit sour and tannic, bready, but quite light. Little to note for the flavor- very light, a touch of grassy, earthy hops, biscuit, and a hint of tannic wood notes in the finish. Very light and macroesque; the addition of wood doesn’t change the fact that this is a mediocre beer.

500ml bottle from Morrisons. Orange copper colour with thin white head. Strong caramel and orange aroma with some sulphur. Malts are reasonably juicy with sharp hop finish. One of the best Marston bottled beers, touch of spice too

Cask @ Charlie’s Bar. Dark red colour. Malty aroma with hints of molasses and some fruitiness. Flavor is very malty and hints of caramel and dark fruits. The alcohol leaves you with a warming feeling. The finish is a little sweet.

500ml bottle from Tesco. Yeasty/hop/caramel aroma. Good warming malt but ultimately a bit thin. Hop bite on the end is ok with yeast carrying on throughout. OK bitter
