On tap at the brewery. Pours out a purple pink topped with a small head. Nose is berries some tartness a little jammy sweetness. Taste is more of the berries along with the currants with a thorny prickly kick.

900th beer review of the state of Vermont. Glad I get to celebrate it with a new one by Rock Art.
On tap at McGillicuddy’s Five Corners. They poured this into a tulip.
The appearance was a burnt orange to almost copper color with a nice sustaining cap of white foamy head. Once it dissipated, some lace slid into the beer.
The aroma had some sweet to earthy spiced zestiness flowing into some tropical tones. Light leafiness tickles the underneath.
The flavor leans in with the sweetness from the hops and has the spicy portion barely touch the malt base. There’s a zest that kicks in to cross lines with some sweet citrus, but for the most part, fairly mild. Quick semi-sweet citrus to tropical fruit aftertaste balances with a slight zest in the finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body, perhaps closer to medium. Moves nicely along my tongue in the ebb and flow from earthy spice to smooth sweet hops and malts.
Overall, Rock Art is doing their best to keep up with the ever changing landscape of Vermont beers. Is this up to par with the \"VT DIPA\" standards? I say it is. Just don’t expect as much bitterness, if any at all.

Poured into a nonic pint glass, the appearance was a ruddy burnt amber color with a nice finger’s worth of white foamy head that died off at a nice pace. Moderate lace.
The aroma strikes at some semi-sharp piney bitterness to grassy sweet hops. Sly caramel malt base.
The flavor leads initially with the sweetness of the hops but ends up blending nicely with some of the bitter piney portion of the hops. Gentle but there. Melded between the hops and malts freely flowing into the aftertaste. Quick malted finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine. Bitterness seems a bit lower than expected but good for what it is.
Overall, good AIPA that I could have again.

Poured into a becher pint glass, the appearance was a rustic burnt amber color with a finger’s worth of white foamy head that dissipated immediately. Sly lacing sliding right on into the beer.
The aroma has a decent blend of malty biscuity/bready/toastiness. Sly piney hop bill, somewhat bitter, but mostly only to balance.
The flavor has a rich malty caramel to toffee bill. Biscuity/breadiness again. Hops set in, once again, only to balance. Moderate balance between malts and hops in the aftertaste and flows nicely into the finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Moderate carbonation. Easy going on my tongue.
Overall, pretty good amber ale that I could have again.

At Vermont Tap House.
They poured this into a snifter.
The appearance was a bronzed golden semi-yellow color. No head. Sly sticky lace at the top of the glass.
The aroma had a big semi-sweet full hoppy to maltiness flowing over a bitter piney to orange-like pulp to bitterness. Tropical sweetness is there but mostly low.
The flavor yields to the sweetness first, but that bitterness does hit the underneath to settle in with a malty kick. Flows nicely into the aftertaste and then on into the finish, fairly quickly.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionable sort of feel over my tongue.
Overall, very nice DIPA that I would have again.

Can. Hazy orange. Bubbly, cream coloured head that settles to a dense film. Nose has minty hop. Some grapefruit pith. Pink grapefruit juice. Oily herb. Bit of a woody, earthy thing going on. Some ice cream malts behind all that. Taste is moderately bitter, with a dose of citrusy, chewy sweetness. Light and clean considering the ABV. More citrus pithiness on the finish.

Can shared by Kyle, thanks! Pours a clear amber orange with a near white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of grass and pine with some onion underlying and a sweet grain backbone. Flavor has lots of grass with some light pine and a grain backbone.

Can. Craft Beer Cellar, Waterbury, VT. 7.0%. Opaque, dark yellow gold. Thin, lasting, white head. Nose has grapefruit juice and rind. Some candied peel. Cracker malts. Some sweeter notes at the end, of marmalade and toffee. Taste is juicy grapefruit, sweet and bitter. Does taste a lot like breakfast juice. Barely noticeable alcohol. Clean and a little dry. More grapefruit on the finish. Grew on me, this one. Super easy drinking.

On tap at Brewster River Brewpub.
This was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a ruddy burnt orange color with some brown hues. Thin white head. Light lacing.
The aroma starts with clean sweet malts. Low bitter earthy hops. Some light grassiness.
The flavor starts with the sweet malts and lets in some light earthy hops. Sly spiciness. Malty aftertaste with the finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body. Low carbonation. Earthy fresh bitterness is there for some harshness on my tongue.
Overall, interesting DIPA, would I have again, possibly.
