Can that pours an unfiltered golden colour with a slight amber hue. The off-white head has decent stay with some frothy lacing. Aromas of oranges with some skunky notes and sweet malts. The mouthfeel is dry enough, but not too the max. Bitter tasting with the hops and citrus character. A decent Double IPA, but not as good as the Long Trail Vermont Double IPA I just had before.

Deep dark brown coloured body with a nice, three to four centimetre tall pure brown head that shows a fairly high percentage opacitiy. Aroma of roasted malt, alcohol, anise, oak, licorice, a ton of wine and vinous notes with a touch of caramel and sugars with a dose of vanilla on the tail end. Medium to Full-bodied; Strong roasted malt and pungent anise, grain and vanilla notes with a softer finish from the wine and sugars from pitted fruits and spiced pears. Aftertaste shows more of the roasted malt and oaky, grainy flavours than anything else with a lot of residual dry sweetness and vanilla flavours, but the wine (red wine, but not sure of varietal - seems lighter, like a Pinot Noir or a Merlot without many tannins) tastes dominate at the end. Overall, an interesting and not-bad option if you want a wine-barrel-aged Imperial Stout, and have some time to let it fester, but this isn't great and probably not worth the space in your cellar. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from LIqour Outlet in Boonton, New Jersey on 22-December-2015 for US$11,69 sampled at my house here in Washington on 28-February-2019 on perhaps one of the last 'snowfalls' of the season here.
Nice bite on at the end.

Can split at L6, thanks to Leighton, 27/09/18. Hazed golden orange with a decent off white cap. Nose is grass, pine needle, raw citric pith, old skool exhaust. Taste comprises ripe citric flesh, pine dusting, grassy, grapefruit, light dank tickle. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close spiked with semi aggressive hop bitterness. Decent enough old skool leaning DIPA.

Can shared in London - picked up in the US. Pours murky orange-gold with a creamy topping. Hearty, a little boozy, some bready pale malts, melon, ripe citrus. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Warming finish, rindy citrus, pine needles, crispy pale malts. Not bad.

Level 6 bottleshare. Big thanks to Leighton for the can. Very hazy orange gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Airy palate, fairly dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Soft dry pale malts, light creamy sweetness. Smooth light pine. Dry citrus, a trace of fresh orange but a fair bit of pithy dry bitterness as well. Dry mildly spicy finish. Nice enough.
