From bag in box. Pours rather clear blonde. No head. Smell is very funky, harsh, wood. Taste is full, dry, very dry. Very buttery. Very mild fruityness. Way to dry and buttery for me. I prefer much more apple taste.

Thank you! Bax-in-a-box sampled. Still. Deep orange. Nose is very dirty sulfitesque mineral barn cider. Painfully watery dirty blanket, sulfitesque dirty mineral far too watery dirty funk cider. Stupidly watery, I do not like this kind of cider funk. Dry.

Bottle from Middle Farm Cider Centre. Opens with a bit of fizz. It pours clear pale green gold with no head. The aroma is rustic, earthy, must, barnyard, brett, pear skin and funk. The taste is crisp, firm dryness, tart, soft pear, white grape, gooseberry, floral, white wine, bright acidity, touch of sherbet, light alcohol presence and tannin with a dry finish. Medium body and a touch of carbonation. Relatively subtle, yet has a great depth of flavour. Pretty excellent. A top drawer perry.
