11.2 oz. swingtop that started to leak in the trunk of my freakin’ car, forcing me to drink it instead of what I intended to drink - Hazy straw color with a gigantic, frothy white head - spicy, hoppy aroma, with loads of light citrus - quite dry, with sage quite present, as well as other herbs (light rosemary mostly) and a peppery quality - subtle sweetness shows itself in the finish, with some lemon and other citrus - this would go great with thai food.

Thanks to jimmack for (most-generously) bringing this to the HW Open House - I was expecting something along the lines of BA Leviathan, but what I was greated with instead was a whole different beast - very tannic aroma, with loads of oak, hints of grape, strawberry - very wine-like throughout (the other barrels it was aged in seem to be drowned out by the Merlot), which makes for a very interesting ale, with more in common with a fine lambic or flemish sour - really, really good.

Hazy copper gold with a thick off white head. Strong herbal hops, with caramle malt, very organic and pleasant. In mouth, an intense mix between an IPA and a saison, herbal hops (I heard 7 hops) with interesting notes. Rich and complex. Mondial 2006.

Bottled. Hazy orange colour with mediumsized foamy head. Weak hoppy and herbal aroma. Flavour is hoppy and hayish with fry papery finish. Quite dry in the aftertaste also, mainly of grass.

Bottled. Hazy brown colour, minor white head. Strong alcohol, fruit and plum in the aroma. Flavour is alcoholic and plummy with hints of pepper and some other spices. Interesting beer, which has clear strong hints of alcohol, but not disturbing at all.

Hazy light golden ale with a creamy white head. Light lactic acid and barnyard notes, with light skunkyness. Good refreshing malt, with light coriander, mint and good acidity. A good summer wit, original. At the Mondiale, June 2006.
