2014 bottle, 5.5%. Hazy golden color with white head that goes down quickly. Aroma is fermenting apple, a touch yoghurt, leathery, funky. Taste is apple flesh, funky, earthy, pears as well, a touch yoghurt, something irritating, maybe fudge or bubblegum. Finish is very leathery and mineralic. Fizzy carbonation. Solid, but not the best Cidre out there.

Small bottle. Hazy golden, off white low head. Sweet pear, wood and fermenting apple aroma. Medium dry body, dry, minerals, bubblegum, sugar, clay, leather. Sparkly, foamy, mineral and barn pear finish. Wee bit messy. Shut up & sit down recommends.

Bottle, courtesy of SinH4. Pours clear golden. Aroma is floral cider, blossoms. Body is light, softly fruity and rather sweet, a bit sticky indeed. Not the most balanced cider ever, also not with the best flavours.

Pours yellow, no head. Smell is intense oaky. Bit sharp from the calvados' taste is sharp, apple, intense carbo. Nice woody notes, some of the barrel lives trough. Very nice indeed !

2014 vintage bottle from Craft Brewed. Pours a clearish golden straw with 2 fingers of fine foam that lingers then dissipates. Aromas of hay, horseblanket, Brie rind, prosciutto, faint smoke, dried apple, umami, cobwebs. Fantastically complex. A symphony of aromas as it warms. Champagne-like carbonation on the palate. Dry and funky with a nice lingering farmy, dried apple character thoughout. Musty. Just stellar. --- Beer merged from original tick of Etienne Dupont Cidre Bouché Brut de Normandie on 30 Sep 2017 at 22:10 - Score: 9. Original review text: 2014 vintage. Hay, horseblanket, Brie rind, prosciutto, faint smoke, dried apple, umami, cobwebs. Fantastically complex. Great carbonation.

75cl bottle from the producer. Pours clear gold, aroma has good fruity medium apple fruit. Taste presents soft bubbles on the palette with a light fruity presence thats not too imposing, well-rounded, refined French cider sweetness. Good but perhaps not as vibrant and flavoursome as it could be.

375ml bottle @ Famille Dupont, Normandy. Thanks Matthieu! Pours clear golden amber. Aroma of caramel, stewed apple. Taste is immediately rich with smooth, deep caramelised apple, lightly acidic. Complex, yet balanced and sippable. Excellent ice cider.

Light golden color. Slight sweet nose with apple skins, earthy start with tons of apple skins and big tannins. Tight carbonation, lots of yeast. Super fun. Slight sweet. So well balanced. Excellent

Many thanks for this Prestige Apple Cider to mkujon. Recolte 2012/Passage en fut 2013 My version from this year was 7,5%. Juz sama butelka, jej ksztalt etykieta zapowiada prestizowego cydra. Czy tak jest? otoz tak, jak najbardziej. Cudowny aromat jablkowej tarty, mnostwo szarlotki z cynamonem, wytrawne, kwaskowe jablka. Wszystko w smaku i aromacie. Wyglad po nalaniu to musujace babelki jak w najlepszym szampanie, szybko rosnaca pianka, srednio trwala. Jak na cydra to naprawde dlugo trwala. Jasne i klarowne, smakowalo jakby wlasnie bylo z osadem. Pelno jablek i to moje ciagle skojarzenie z nalesnikami z jablkami polanymi kilkoma kroplami cytryny. Wytrawne i ozezwiajace, alkohol zupelnie nie wyczuwalny. Raz jeszcze dzieki Marcin za tego fenomenalnego cydra.
