Fles gedeeld door Inoven, geprobeerd met familie tijdens kerst. Het is een troebel roodbruin bier met een volle beige schuim. Het heeft een aroma van mout en kruiden. De smaak is fruitig en kruidig.

Bottle in Asian restaurant Dubai mall, with the local team and Mads, 18th December 24. Pours off clear. Aroma does have some Belgian notes, yeast and citrus. Taste is a little sweet, yeast, not too bad. Only option here any how !!

Cerveza de color marrón muy oscuro, casi negro, opaca al trasluz, espuma beige claro muy abundante, cremosa y persistente. Aroma con fondo algo dulce y torrefacto, se perciben maltas tostadas, levadura, pan de centeno, frutos negros, frutas del bosque, café espresso, chocolate y una sutil nota de lúpulo herbal. En boca el trago es sedoso, muy sabroso, moderadamente corpulento, rico en matices, de entrada domina la malta tostada, y el cacao, reforzado de inmediato con notas torrefactas, cafetosas e incluso herbal, de fondo una base de frutos negros maduros (arandanos, moras...)que equilibran bastante el trago. El alcohol se percibe muy ligeramente, pero no para mal, sino para bien, aportando una sutil licorosidad, en realidad sus 9%ABV permanecen bastante ocultos, siendo esta Hercule una cerveza peligrosamente muy fácil de beber. En general no puedo decir de ella más que es una delicia digna de repetir.

Bottle picked up from Dranken Vandewoude, Veurne, Belgium and consumed at home Sunday 15th December 2024, listening to ByteFM. We've got a Belgian Beef Carbonnade in the slow cooker. Pours mid to warm gold, it's a bit hazy, there is a mid sized white head. Bretty nose but also a little perfume, lavender maybe. Nice, refreshing it's light, spicy, really like this, however it was a gusher and I lost 1/4 to a 1/3rd of the bottle which was a tad frustrating.

330ml bottle. Cloudy, amber colour with huge, firm, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Sweet-ish, minimally sugary, caramel malty, mildly bretty, funky yeasty and slightly floral and grassy, hoppy aroma, hints of toffee and butterscotch, brown sugar, typical Hubba Bubba bubblegum brettiness, some funk. Taste is moderately bitter, grassy and minimally floral hoppy, mildly bretty, funky yeasty, minimally sugary, caramel malty basis without residual sweetness. Watery texture, dry palate, medium to coarse, prickly to lively carbonation. Nice bretty aspects, a bit watery, tad overcarbonated as well - decent.

Bottle at the LCBO. Pours a light cloudy blonde with a fluffy and persistent white head. Hops nose thats mildly resinous. Taste is hops up front, quite a mix, resin, bitter, citrus, over a fairly mundane wheaty malt base. Taste has lingering resin and stronger citrus. Not the punch you would expect for a NEIPA style, more subtle. Good, not stellar.
