Description

330ml bottle [courtesy of Claudius - a big thanks to you and your train travel karma!]. Hazy, yellow-ish, bright golden colour with average to huge, firm, frothy, moderately to mostly lasting, minimally lacing, snow white head. Fruity hoppy and mildly funky, yeasty aroma, slightly spicy, pale malty background, notes of lemon, a touch of lemon peel, unspecific fruitiness, a touch of mettwurst as well. Taste is moderately bitter, citrusy fruity hoppy, mildly funky, slightly spicy, pale malty, notes of lemon, some lemon peel, that Mettwurst touch again, underlying hints of salty cracker, no residual sweetness. Watery texture, dry palate, medium, prickly carbonation. Fairly citrusy, nice dirty funky and spicy aspects - enjoyable.

Draft @ Brewdog Brussels.
Note de cuire, groseille à maquereau, abricot aigre léger, physalis.

Very thick yellowish head, pitting-in over well-carbonated fully hazy yellow beer; shards of lace. Creamy, grapey, perfumey nose, with herbal & spicy notes. Inviting, but all the same it is a bit "easy" aroma, too flat- unidimensional. The very intense carbonation enhances the fresh-herbal flavours. Floral, slightly citrussy and green fruits. Slight fruity sweetness underneath. Light body, refreshing. Not very long-lasting flavours. Not bad at all, but as said, a tad easy, almost industrial.

Bottle at 1900 Art Cafe. Med-thin body, medium carbonation. ABV hidden well. Nice solid roasty base, with a hint of smoke, ashy, tobacco. I do not get much belgiany presence, only a hint. Easy drinking, quite good.
